Katie

On November 4, 2022, we welcomed the newest member of our family.  Katie was born on September 8, 2022 and is a purebred Shih Tzu. After the passing of our beloved dog Bella, our house didn’t really feel the same.  Even for our other dog Sophie, she knew something was definitely different around the house as her demeanor had really changed. Katie entered our lives full of energy and mischief as with most puppies.  Sophie is slowly warming up to her.  She’s finding it challenging to safely manage her energy who is always wanting to play.  I wish there was a way to harness all that playful energy. Whenever we leave the house, we have to have Katie in a large playpen area to keep her and Sophie separate.  Once Sophie gets more used to Katie and Katie gets bigger, the need for the playpen will eventually go away.
