Sophie

Sophie is our 8 year old black and white Havanese dog.  We got her when she was just a puppy.

She’s not the most playful of dogs.  Her personality is more like a cat, who likes to lounge around.  She especially likes to sit on the back of our sofas.  She really likes the sofa by the window and having the sun on her face in the morning.

She has always been obsessed with belly rubs.  Whenever someone approaches her, she’ll immediately roll onto her back to get her belly scratched/rubbed. She has always had issues with always wanting to scratch herself, to the point where she has worn the fur off different areas.  We have to routinely give her allergy medication to help reduce the ongoing scratching.

Unfortunately her sister Bella passed away on June 7, 2022 after a 2 year struggle with Diabetes.

Since Bella’s passing, Sophie has taken on a lot of what Bella used to do.  She has become more vocal and wants to go for walks more.
